Starting to get concerned for my own safety from just how irrationally angry it now makes me to see yet another ‘Keep Calm and Carry On’ knockoff on some blog or mug or tote bag or toaster. At least I can say I’m developing a new reflex action to provide me with the adrenaline with which to fend off a burglar or mugger were they to strike at the precise moment I stumbled across another offending item. At least.
Here’s some soothing (and oddly relevant) Magritte, anyway. I wonder if Radiohead had seen this circa-Kid A era? Or whoever was at the helm of the artwork/blips at the time.
Today I was coaxed into meeting up & playing badminton for an hour, had a shortcake and hobbled my way to UEA library, where I’ve almost summoned the motivation to begin dissertation-ing, only 6 months late. Any more vapid updates, just shout.
